November 15, 2008 – Saturday (Posting #2)

Our next stop was the SUN TEMPLE dating from around 1050, located in the town of Modhera. Again a lively place full of local people. We particularly enjoyed admiring the lovely sarees worn by beautiful women coming to the temple. You will see one photo of two women wearing yellow sarees. When we approached them to ask if we might photograph them, we noticed that they discreetly looked back toward their husbands for approval before smiling and agreeing.
